This Week In School

"HAVE AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE!"

Virtue of the week: GRATITUDE

Scripture of the week: "And in nothing doth man offend God, or against none is his wrath kindled, save those who confess not his hand in all things."
Article of Faith: #13 We believe believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men. Indeed we may say that we follow, the admonition of Paul. We believe all things, we hope all things we have endured many thing things and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
Quote #1: "He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has" Epictetus-Greek Philosopher
Quote #2: "We can lift ourselves and others as well when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude. If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues. Someone has said that gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others." -Thomas S. Monson

LEADERSHIP

A leadership education teaches students how to think and prepares them to be leaders in their homes and communities, entrepreneurs in business, and Statesmen in government.

Liberty Youth Academy uses a model of personalized study of Classics, where we read, write and discuss. Our Mentors only accept quality work. By doing this, we set the example of good character and duty.
