We are so lucky to be able to have the opportunity to teach the children the things related to History, Science, Mathematics, and Language Arts as it applies to being a follower of Christ! In this world where my children are constantly seeing the opposite of what I'm teaching in our home as right and good, I'm so grateful that they have the opportunity to come to Liberty Youth Academy and hear again the teachings that I'm trying to instill in them, and not spending their week in classrooms devoid of the teachings that I hold dear! The children learn better because the spirit is in our school! It's truly a priveledge for me to be able to teach in this way and to be able to offer this type of education to others in our community!
We talked about the commandment to "love our enemies" this week and we are all striving to live that commandent better. We are doing secret acts of service for each other! We will do this until our Christmas break as our Christmas gift to the Savior. We have also been talking a lot about having an "attitude of gratitude." We have and will continue to spend time helping the children to see how many blessings that they have and that they have much to be grateful for! -Sister Dale

It is my firm conviction-no, more than that-it is my certain knowledge that the greatness of our beloved nation was foreshadowed and foreseen by ancient prophets who lived here. It is assuring to know that this nation has a prophetic history, that all of the great events that have transpired here, including the coming of Columbus, the Pilgrim Fathers, and the War for Independence, were foreseen by ancient prophets.

Staheli Farm Field Trip!
The Staheli Farm field trip was a blast!! Thank you to all of the families that came! The children learned a lot about all the different animals on the farm and how they milked the Jersey cows. We went on a tracker ride out to the pumpkin patch and learned how a pumpkin grows and some of the secrets to having a successful pumpkin patch. We got to pick out a pumpkin for each classroom! After that we enjoyed the corn maze and then played on the farm playground! It was a lot of fun and we are so thankful to Staheli farm for allowing us to come! Liberty Youth Academy has some great families that make these field trips amazing!!!

LEADERSHIP
A leadership education teaches students how to think and prepares them to be leaders in their homes and communities, entrepreneurs in business, and Statesmen in government.
Liberty Youth Academy uses a model of personalized study of Classics, where we read, write and discuss. Our Mentors only accept quality work. By doing this, we set the example of good character and duty.
